As part ofShared Action initiative, CEVAA is organizing a camp for the Community’s youth from July 20 to 26 in Kpalimé, Togo.
Based on the theme Inhabit Creation differently, as well as on the Cevaa Youth Strategyin the Church: “Tomorrow, sure, but today first,” that the Youth and Activities Division proposed the theme for the gathering:“Let’s act today to change tomorrow.”

The passage from Matthew 5:14–16 will allow us to explore this topic from a spiritual perspective.
Discovering the Cevaa
The community-based nature of the gathering creates a space where young people can engage in a spiritual, communal, and intercultural experience that prepares them to become agents of change in their churches and societies.
This camp provides a space for learning, intercultural exchange, and engagement with the Cevaa’s values: justice, peace, transformation, solidarity, and shared mission.
The International Youth Camps give young people the chance to discover the opportunities offered by the Community. During the 2026 event, the organizing team will aim to achieve several objectives:
- To facilitate encounters between young people from different countries and cultures.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the camp's spiritual theme.
- Develop skills in leadership, service, and responsibility.
- Encourage the expression of talents and active participation.
- Raise awareness of contemporary social, environmental, and missionary issues.
- Strengthen ties among the member churches of the CEVAA.
A major event

To host this important delegation, the EEPT (Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Togo) made available the facilities of the Protestant College of Kpalimé, which are equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to accommodate the campers and ensure the smooth running of the activities.
Each of the 35 member churches was invited to nominate two young people, aged 18 to 30, to participate in the camp. To date, despite the absence of representatives from a few churches, 80 people have registered for the trip to Kpalimé.
A dynamic program
The Center, in collaboration with several community leaders, has put together a program featuring presentations, hands-on workshops, and a variety of engaging activities, all interspersed with times of spiritual reflection and relaxation. This will allow the young people to learn about Cevaa, explore the theme, and forge lasting bonds in a spirit of joy and fellowship.
