Joint Action: the weekly meditation booklet has been published

Cevaa invites you to experience the year 2026 through weekly meditations, the fruit of diverse voices from all our communities around the world. These simple yet profound texts open paths to a better understanding of the Gospel in the richness of our cultures, histories, and realities. The meditations are, of course, part of the theme of our Common Action, "Living differently in creation," and they invite each reader to convert, to transform their outlook, their habits, and their way of being in the world. This booklet is not only intended to nourish our reflection: it also aims to support a vibrant community dynamic. Each text is a pause, a call to prayer, discernment, and commitment. In a world marked by crises and injustices, these meditations become reference points for listening to the word of God and responding together. This collection also reminds us of something essential: Common Action is not a project to be read or understood, but an action to be lived. It takes on its full meaning when each and every one of us takes it up in a concrete way, in worship services, meetings, outreach activities, and in daily life.

Tree planting initiative at UEPAL

News Tree planting initiative at UEPAL Invitation to participate in tree and hedge planting days. Reminder: March 7 and 8, 2026 UEPAL is mobilizing to combat climate change and protect biodiversity. Following the Terres d'Eglises day organized by UEPAL on April 12, 2024, we proposed setting up actions that would enable us to contribute to caring for Creation, a responsibility as Christians, in solidarity with those who are already suffering from the effects of climate change and for future generations.  On March 7 and 8, 2026, we invite you to participate in the first edition of these two days of tree and hedge planting throughout Alsace and Moselle. Learn more about the planting days.

Morocco: A new way of living creation

Every year, the Evangelical Church in Morocco (EEAM) offers young people a summer camp where they can exchange ideas, share times of meditation, listen to the Word of God and experience moments of togetherness. https://cevaa-actioncommune.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Gestion-deau_projet-JEEAM.mp4 For the 2025 vintage, which has just taken place, the camp leaders included a time of exchange in the program to launch the joint action "inhabiting creation differently" with young people. Omer Dagan, Executive Secretary of Cevaa's Youth and Animation Department, took part in a videoconference to present our action and develop ideas for activities and work. An opportunity to share these beautiful words of Francis of Assisi: "Praise be to you, my Lord, for our mother earth, who sustains us and governs us, and produces various fruits with the colorful flowers and grass". Cantique des créatures, p. 343.

EPRe - Joint Action - 12-24

News EPRe - Common Action - 12-24 The Eglise Protestante de la Réunion sent 3 representatives to Madagascar, to take part in the Cevaa Common Action Seminar - Southern Africa and Indian Ocean region.on their return, the participants chose to report on the exchanges and times of sharing experienced, but also to put into practice the resolutions taken at the end of the Seminar by proposing theoretical and practical workshops to the members of their church. Workshop 1: Cutting techniques Workshop 2: Creation of a community and parish garden - Inauguration on 08/12/2024 Communication during the Seminar inspired by Colossians 1:12-20 More than a framework for life given by God, Creation is first and foremost an element in God's relationship with human beings. God wants human beings to be with him. This is God's plan, his goal, his mission, and it is for this reason that we must care for Creation. Stage 2: Creation (in progress) of an orchard with a multitude of fruit trees (in the image of the Garden of Eden) for the consumption of parishioners. Workshop 1: Creation of an "alternative" nursery: papaya, lemon, passion fruit, pineapple, avocado, banana... Workshop 2: Introduction of parishioners to the nutritional benefits and therapeutic virtues of each fruit Putting into practice the techniques proposed in the EPR garden Stage 1: "We had to redesign the existing EPR garden to make it more beautiful, more serene and more pleasant for the parishioners, but also to make it a showcase for our Church. A showcase to attract the attention of passers-by "in search" of spirituality or simply looking to fill a void in their lives... "Promising results: every Sunday we see new people arriving or old ones returning. The Gospel is making its way... Step 3: Creation of an ecological "perfume garden" containing mosquito repellents (lemongrass, geranium...) "Based on our reflections and the workshops we ran on the theme of "Living differently in Creation", we can draw the following conclusion:We can act by bringing our training (through workshops in the field) to the Churches according to the following criteria:- The Churches must have a plot of land of a size that can allow the creation of the garden (because this is the "material" objective of the proposed solution).- Ideally, they should have a majority of young and active people, who are the future of the parish - They must "adhere" in the sense of "agreeing" with the Cevaa principle of Common Action for a New Way of Living CreationBased on these criteria and the exchanges we had during the seminar, we propose to intervene with the churches of Mauritius and Madagascar."
